Obituary
Jane Ann Wiegand, 86, of Baker City, Oregon, passed away on October 26, 2022, at her residence. No services have been planned at this time.
Jane was born on June 21, 1936, in St. Edward, Nebraska, to forest and Hazel (Smolinski) Edwards. She attended high school in Weippe, Idaho, and attended College in Lewiston, Idaho. Jane worked in the food industry for 40 years; when she wasn't working, she enjoyed golf, fishing, watching John Wayne movies, and many outdoor activities. She loved sports and never missed a blazer game; she also loved her grandchildren.
She raised three children on her own and formed many friendships she kept from her childhood.
Jane is survived by her son Robert (Shawn) Russell of Arizona, daughter Sharon (Ken) Raya of Warren, Oregon, and daughter Christina (Russell) Malloy of Baker City, Oregon. Ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive her.
Preceding her death are her father, Forrest Edwards, and her mother, Hazel Edwards.
