Carla Densley

Carla Jean Densley, age 55, of Baker City, Oregon, passed away at Settler’s Park Assisted Living Community on June 4, 2026. No services are planned at this time.

Carla attended her first years of school at Brooklyn Elementary School, completing her seventh year in Gillette, Wyoming. The family moved back to Baker City, where she attended Middle School through High School. She then spent one year at Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho.

She made her career in retail sales at Safeway for 15 years. She enjoyed sewing and showing her sheep in 4-H, along with other sports activities. Carla suffered for years from Multiple Sclerosis and kidney failure. During her illness, the most important thing to her was her cat Tri-Pod.

She will always be remembered for her beautiful big blue eyes, sweet personality, and generosity to others.

Carla is survived by her parents, Aaron Densley and Kay Shellito; brothers John Densley and David Densley; grandmothers Lillian Densley and Bernita Westberg; and multiple aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial contributions in memory of Carla may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in care of Gray’s West & Company Pioneer Chapel at 1500 Dewey Ave., Baker City, Oregon 97814.
