Travis Levi Culbertson, age 36, of Baker City, Oregon passed away on July 14, 2019. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Coles Tribute Center, 1950 Place Street, Baker City. Pastor Brad Phillips of the Harvest Church will be officiating the service. There will be a reception at Coles Tribute Center following the service.
Travis was born on July 6, 1983 in Graham, Texas to Laura Anne Ryan and James Harvey Culbertson. He attended Baker High School and graduated in 2002. After high school, he took some classes at Treasure Valley Community College and Blue Mountain Community College. He also obtained his Med Tech license. He worked as a caregiver at Settler’s Park Assisted Living Community.
Travis enjoyed spending time with family and friends, writing, playing games with his nephew Gavin, gaming at Gamer Haven and being with people. He loved his work and being intone to everyone’s needs. He lived out loud and would always say the things everyone else was too afraid to say. He was accomplished in not judging others. He gave the best hugs, they were always filled with so much love.
Survivors include his mom and step-father, Laura and David Fuzi; his father and step-mother, James and Donita Culbertson; sister, Tristin Culbertson all of Baker City, Oregon; sister, Alisha (Fuzi) Joy of Newberg, Oregon; brother, Jeremy Fuzi who is currently in the Navy; brother, Justin Fuzi of Seattle, Washington; brothers, Forrest Entermille and Brandon Culbertson, both of Baker City, Oregon; nephews, Gavin Errend and Zack Anderson; and nieces, Lily Mae Fuzi, Cadence Anderson, Kaela Anderson and Aurora Entermille.
Travis was joined in death by his good friend Jesse Butler. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Thelma Gibbs, Curtis Gibbs, Richard Culbertson and Glenmer Culbertson.
