Howard Lyle Logsdon, 74, of Baker City, OR passed away on October 12, 2018. A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 PM on October 27, 2018, at the Baker City Christian Church with Pastor Jesse Whitford and Dave Simonson officiating the service.

Howard was born on February 27, 1944, in Canyon City Oregon. Died: October 12, 2018
Howard was raised in Baker City, Oregon. His parents were Joseph Logsdon and Leonia Keele-Logsdon.
Howard’s years of High School were spent in sports; his true love was basketball, Howard was chosen as an All- American Athlete and graduated in 1962.
Howard Logsdon Logging was started in 1966 and expanded into rock crushing and building timber sale roads for Ellingson Lumber Company, the Forest Service, and Boise Cascade.
From logging, he moved on to Commercial Redi Mix in Salem Oregon for 14 years.
From there he moved on to wind farms developing roads.
Baker City was always his home to return to, and he moved back to Baker City to do what he loved most and that was to spend time with family and friends that were Important to him and Judy.
Some on Howard’s passions were jigsaw puzzles, G Scale Model Trains, having family over for hot dog roasts and chili. There was always lots of laughter and fun playing croquet.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Judy Logsdon of Baker City, his daughter, Kimberly Logsdon of Baker City, Kevin Howard Logsdon (Marilyn) of Baker City, Sisters Caroline Barton (Bob), and Elaine Logsdon of Baker City, Jody Logsdon of Redmond, Brothers James Logsdon and Jerry DeBlonk (Nancy) of South Dakota and his grandchildren.
Proceeded in death by his parents, and son Kerry Lyle Logsdon,
Howards was a 50-year member of The Baker City Elks.
